About Amy L. Hennessy, MD MPH

The Mid-Atlantic Glaucoma Experts have five Practices based across Maryland in Hagerstown, Baltimore, Havre De Grace and two locations in Pennsylvania; Hershey and York, which treat many diseases of the Eye, but specializes in Glaucoma.

She is involved in the teaching of teaching residents in glaucoma, glaucoma surgery, and cataract surgery at the Johns Hopkins Wilmer Institute.

Dr. Hennessy is currently in active research and is hopeing to develop strategies and techniques which might prevent needless blindness.

Dr.Hennessy: Providence College, BS in Biology; Brown University MD;
and she has a Masters degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University’s Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Dr. Hennessy completed her ophthalmology training at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, VA.
