O2 Optix

O2 Optix is a breathable 1-2 week disposable contact lens with great comfort. The revolutionary Silicon Hydrogel technology allows up to five times more oxygen to reach the eye than traditional soft contacts, which makes your eyes whiter, brighter and much more healthy-looking.

Thanks to the superior oxygen transmission you can nap in the contact lenses and even sleep in them for up to six nights extended wear. The biocompatible lens surface treatment assures that the eyes do not dry out. Always consult your eye care professional for recommended wearing schedules.

The lens was launched in 2004 with the ambition to bring the high oxygen transmittable material to a wider market by making it more affordable and suitable for daily wear. O2 Optix contacts are based on CIBA Vision’s older Night & Day technology.
